Prominent legal practitioner and founder of the Asiwaju Grassroots Alliance Initiative (AGAIN), Hussein Afolabi, on Sunday officially submitted his nomination form at the All Progressives Congress national headquarters in Abuja, formally declaring his readiness to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.

The nomination submission attracted notable stakeholders from across the constituency, highlighting growing support for Afolabi’s aspiration from the three local government areas of Edu, Moro, and Patigi.

Among those who accompanied him were Mallam Jubril Ndana Anuja, a prominent stakeholder from Edu Local Government who led delegates from the Edu and Patigi axis, as well as Ustaz Zakariyah Jimoh, an Abuja-based Islamic cleric from Babadudu Ward in Moro Local Government Area, who led other stakeholders from the Moro axis.

The development marks another milestone in Afolabi’s political journey, coming after earlier consultations and declaration of interest, as he continues to project a campaign centered on grassroots development, inclusive leadership, and effective representation for the constituency.
