Africa’s Global Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, is bringing together female leaders for a special Women’s Month edition of its quarterly UBA Business Series.

The edition, themed “Gen W: The Evolved Woman,” set for Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the UBA Office in Marina, Lagos, will also be streamed live across all UBA’s digital platforms and interested participants are urged to register for in-person or virtual attendance via the link: http://on.ubagroup.com/tfig.

The event which will be moderated by popular media personality and actor, Tobi Bakre; will feature conversations with leading entrepreneur and founder of ORÍKÌ Group, Joycee Awosika; celebrated media personality and digital entrepreneur Tomike Adeoye; founder of Fine-Funky, Olufunke Davies, and award-winning broadcaster Ayo Mario-Ese, who will all share actionable strategies for navigating ambition and leadership in the modern business world.

The discussions will also aim at highlighting a new era of African women who are intentionally shaping their own professional landscapes.

UBA’s Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, who emphasised the bank’s growing commitment to providing a platform that celebrates visionary women, said, “The modern African woman is evolving in remarkable ways. She is bold, visionary, and intentional about the spaces she occupies. Through this edition of the UBA Business Series, we want to celebrate these women while also creating a platform where meaningful conversations around leadership, ambition and opportunity can take place.”

As Africa’s Global Bank, UBA’s Business Series remains as a vital knowledge-sharing hub, equipping entrepreneurs and professionals with the tools needed to build resilient and sustainable enterprises.
