SDP COMMISERATES WITH ELESE, IGBAJA PEOPLE ON THE DEATH OF AGBAJA

The Kwara State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party SDP has commiserated with the people of Igbaja, the Elese of Igbaja Kingdom HRM, Alhaji Oba (Dr.) Ahmed Awuni Babalola Arepo III and the families of High Chief, Alh. Abdulrahman Ibiyeye Awosowoye, the Agbaja of Igbaja Land, over the death of their patriarch.

In a release from the party’s media office in Ilorin on Tuesday, the SDP described the death of Alhaji Awosowoye as shocking and devastating because he died at a time his wise counsel and support are most needed in the community and in the State.

The statement added that the party expressed deep sympathy and wish to convey great condolence to his family, the people of Igbaja kingdom and to His Royal Majesty, Elese of Igbaja land in this moment of grief.

The party also prayed that “may Almighty Allah (SWT) be with the family of the deceased, and grant him Aljanah Fridaus.”
