A Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Oyo.State, Mr Agboola Alphonso has urged members of the Party in Ibarapa Local Government of Oyo State to turn out en mass to register for the party as the exercise commenced nationwide.
Agboola , an experienced politician and grassroots mobiliser made this call in Ibadan, yesterday as part of the contribution of elders of the party to ensure a hitch free exercise for the party.
The exercise which has begun in Ibarapa Local Council has been recording a huge turnout of party members comprising members, particularly women, youths and professional groups.
The Chieftain who resigned last month to join the ADC linked his decision to the prolonged crisis rocking the PDP’s national leadership, while wishing to “seek an alternative platform to further his ambition.”
The ADC which was launched last year has been attracting the best of Nigerians, the latest being Abdullahi Adamu, the former National Chairman of the ruling All Nigeria People’s Congress, APC.
