The Kwara Agenda for Asiwaju (KWAGA), one of the recognised Support groups based in Kwara State has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday celebration.

In an interview with The Herald recently, the State Coordinator of KWAGA, Hon Yinka Yusuf Erubu lauded the President for spending all his life in the service of his fatherland

Hon Erubu who appreciates efforts of the President in actualising the renew hope agenda of the present administration said efforts on economic reforms, security, wage awards to Nigeria workers among several other efforts are already yielding dividends to the citizenry.

Coming to Kwara state, Hon Erubu commended the state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his people-oriented programs. He stressed that, “it is heartwarming to note that the present administration in the state is working assiduously to cushion the effects of the current hardship in the society through many palliative effort.

“Kwarans also appreciates efforts of the people’s Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, over the recent payment of salary arrears owed local government workers by the last administration in the state.

“This step by the Governor has portrayed him as a man who is committed to the welfare of the people and does not play politics with the people’s welfare and well-being.”

The KWAGA boss therefore appealed to the Governor not to rest on his oars in providing good leadership to the people of the state.

In his words, “We at KWAGA appreciates the leadership acumen of our Governor and since the reward for hard work is more work we hereby urge him consider contesting for the senatorial seat of Kwara central after the end of his tenure so that we can continue to benefit from his leadership prowess.”

Hon Erubu also called on the leadership of the ruling APC in the state to zone the governorship position of the party to the Kwara Northern district so as to ensure equity, justice and fair play.
