A United Kingdom, UK based leadership and skills acquisition training expert, Prof. David Bruce Day has pledged his supports and that of his Nigerian counterparts to the newly established All Progressives Congress, APC Think Tank, The Progressive Institute, TPI.
Prof David vows to facilitate skills acquisition, entrepreneur and leadership training programs for Nigerians so as to raise dynamic leaders and people who could effect real change in the country.
Prof David is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO of International Collaboration in Business Innovation with Technology and Science. He led delegates of other experts including Samson Adeosun, Managing Director of ASQ Development & Training Services Limited and Dr. Usman Paiko Chiroma, National Secretary, Association of Integrative Medicines of Nigeria on a courtesy visit to the TPI in Abuja on Friday.
The international experts hail the APC leadership for appointing Dr. Lanre Adebayo as the pioneer Director General, DG of the TPI, describing him as an exceptional governance and leadership specialist.
“We are here to intimate you of our resolve to help you deliver your mandate without stress. We have studied the mission of the TPI and we realized the need to support you in training dynamic leaders that could effect meaningful changes in the country. We have done similar things in many European countries and Nigeria with its numerous potentials to be greater than its status now will henceforth benefit from our professional prowess”. The team affirmed as Prof. David noted that Nigeria can be a super power amongst comity of nations.
Dr. Lanre Adebayo, the DG of TPI welcomes the collaborative initiative of the team, assuring them of a mutually beneficial memorandum of understanding, MoU. The DG said that TPI is poised to organize skills acquisition trainings in each of the six geo political zone of the country.
“We have the mandate of the APC National Chairman to develop skills acquisition programs for Nigerian youths. The proposal is ready and we will soon hit the field with the project. We’re also planning an ideological conference for the politicians to as to instil in them the principle of progressive governance. We will surely need you in these critical projects’, Dr Adebayo stated as the experts promise their willingness for a genuine collaboration.
