The National Executive Committee and the entire membership of Frontliners for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (FABAT) wish to heartily congratulate our Principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shetima on their election as the President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the February 25, 2023 elections.

We are grateful to God Almighty for this success at the poll as we believe that the Asiwaju presidency will usher in a glorious era of good governance and unprecedented developmental milestones.

FABAT is very much aware of the demonstrated capacity, track records, exposure and the uncommon ability of Asiwaju to assemble the best of hands for the job and his innate ability to build bridges across divisions and fault lines.

All these will be complemented by a forward looking and also a capable Vice President. We believe Nigeria will be better, far better with Asiwaju/Shetima Presidency.

We are aware of the enormous task but our principals will make the desired difference. May God help them and help us.The Exco recognizes the unwavering efforts of all those who stood with Asiwaju and the Vice President-elect to wade through the tough political struggles culminating in the remarkable victory. We commend the President and national leader of APC Muhammadu Buhari for the solidarity and support for The Tinubu and Shetima ticket especially through his participation in campaigns. We also commend our president for providing a level playing ground for a free, fair and credible presidential and national assembly elections.

FABAT equally congratulates the National Executive Committee and National Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress (APC) under the leadership of Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu. The same commendation and congratulations also go to the APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC) as well as all APC members and all the independent campaign groups and associations.

FABAT Exco specially thanks all our members in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti and Kwara states for their selfless commitment to the Asiwaju project. The resilience and commitment and sacrifices of everyone especially for attending group meetings (most times at short notice), attending APC rallies, visitations to homes to promote the capacity of our candidates, interaction with individuals and groups, posting valuable and educative items in support of the APC candidates on social media and many more efforts towards the success of Asiwaju.

The Exco recognizes the efforts and sacrifices and pray that God will help Asiwaju deliver on the noble programmes and promises for good governance and progress of Nigeria. We note with joy the promise of Asiwaju to hit the ground running from the first day so as to begin to turn around the fortunes of Nigeria in all areas. We urge the administration to run an inclusive government and involve the youths in the efforts to move the nation positively forward.

We are particularly delighted that as a committed democrat you have behaved true to type and extended the olive branch to your opponents in the election to join you in the smooth running of your administration. We commend the international communities who have sent you congratulation messages as we urge others to immediately do so to pave way for better international relations.

We cannot forget the resilience of the country’s electoral management body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for standing firm in its delivery of a free, fair and credible elections. The commission in the face of intimidation, stood on the path of honour and fairplay.

We are not oblivious of the challenges and obstacles encountered in the conduct of the election, we praise you for surmounting all of them. Even though we can strive to better in future. For all APC members and all lovers of progressive governance, the next assignment is now to double our efforts to record greater success at the coming gubernatorial and state assembly elections.

We must work extra hard to ensure APC wins in our respective states. This will make our work complete and victory sweeter..

Thank you.

Segun Ogunade

Director General Frontliners for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (FABAT).
