CAIDOV Condemns Killing of Female Lagos Lawyer by Police

A Lagos based anti violence group, Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence (CAIDOV) has condemned in strong terms the unfortunate murder of a Lagos Lawyer,Barrister Omobolanle Raheem by a police officer attached to the Ajiwe police division in Ajah Area of the state

CAIDOV in a statement issued on Monday and signed by its Executive Director, Comrade Gbenga Soloki,described the incident as an “unfortunate development”, calling on the police authority to ensure that the killer cop and his team members are made to face he full wrath of the law.

The group further warned that the unfortunate incident is being closely monitored by several organisations both within and outside the shores of the country,warning that any attempt to cover the dastardly act will spell doom for the image of the country and the integrity of the Nigerian police force

The group however commiserated with the family of the murdered lawyer ,promising that justice will not only be served in this matter , but adequate compensation will be sought and gotten for the family for the brutal murder of the deceased Lawyer
