Azeez Elected Vice President of Nigeria’s Communication Association

The Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, Prof. Adesina Lukuman Azeez, has been elected Vice President (North Central) for the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN).

The election, which took place at the end of the 11th Annual Conference of the association held at Lagos Airport Hotel, makes Azeez the first communication scholar to be elected into the National Executive Council of the association from the academia and the entirety of the communication industry in Kwara State.

The Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) is an umbrella body of communication scholars, professionals and industrial players in Nigeria and diaspora, with a vision for greater gown and town synergy and upliftment of communication scholarship and practices. He will serve in the position for two years in the first instance.
