Organisers of the Most Trusted Brands Awards (MTB), have confirmed that Mr. Idorenyen Enang, Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Shepherds Limited will deliver the lecture as part of the activities for this year’s award taking place in Lagos on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

A consummate marketer, brand builder, turn- around expert, leadership and life coach, Idy, as he is fondly called by friends and colleagues was at different times Brand Manager at Guinness (a subsidiary of Diageo), Country Marketing Manager, Coca Cola, Kenya, Commercial Director, Cadbury Nigeria, Managing Director, Nigeria, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Managing Director, L’Oreal, Central West Africa, where he managed the two subsidiaries of the beauty giant across West Africa.

Mr. Enang who will be speaking on the theme: Building Trusted Brands in Trust Deficit Society has had exemplary leadership and service in the course of his career which has set him on global stage where he served on various positions such as the Region Vice President for Africa for the World Federation of Advertisers, Past President of the Advertisers’ Association of Nigeria, former Council member of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), among other leadership positions.
He is currently the President and Chairman Governing Council of National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

Commenting on the choice of Enang as the guest speaker for the  MTB Awards, Managing Director of Brand Health Limited, organisers of the awards Mr Emman Udowoima said: “We didn’t have to go far in the choice of Idy  as guest speaker for this year’s Most Trusted Brands Awards as his choice was unanimous among the organizing committee members.
Idy is a perfect fit when discussing consumers, brands and trust as he brings over 30 years of experience in managing brands and engaging consumers across industry verticals. I am excited and looking forward together with our special guests to a stimulating lecture”.

Past speakers at the MTB Awards included Mr. Udeme Ufot, Managing Director, SO&U, Mr. Lolu Akinwunmi, Managing Director, Prima Garnet Africa, Prof. Charles Ogbulogo, Dean, Leadership and Development, Covenant University, Alhaji Bello Kankarofi , former Director General, APCON, Mr. Mike Omeri ,former Director General ,  National Orientation Agency, Mr. Tunji Adeyinka, Managing Director, Connect Marketing Limited , Late Mrs Ify Umenyi  former Director General , Consumer Protection Council of Nigeria  and Mr. Kola Oyeyemi, General Manager ,Business Development,  MTN  Nigeria.

Consumers are currently voting in a nation-wide survey to choose their preferred brands across over 20 product categories. Winning brands will be recognized and honoured during the MTB Awards nights in Lagos.
