The management of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria  has described as misleading, the report of an “alleged overwhelming situation of food poisoning and stretched admission facilities at Covenant University, accompanied by misleading claims of an unbearable situation on campus resulting in numerous student admissions for dehydration due to a diarrhea disease outbreak.”

According to the statement released by the School on Monday, “these claims do not represent the truth as the health situation of our students is not out of the ordinary. Covenant University continues to take all necessary measures to ensure the health and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff at all times.”
