Frontline politician businessman and former Presidential Candidate, Dr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has extolled the virtues of late Elder statesman and frontline first Republic political leader, Alhaji Ahmadi kurfi.
Received at the Family House in Katsina by former National secretary of the PDP, Senator Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri and son of late Kurfi who is also PDP State’s chairman and other Elders in Katsina, Dr Hashim said the late Elder statesman bequeathed a legacy of integrity to the nation.
“Baba was straight forward. You knew where he stood. He is always a lover of Nigeria”s unity”, the ex-presidential candidate added.
He and his delegation landed at the Katsina Airport around 10.00 in an Hawker Jet with Registration no, 5N-BZP
He was accompanied by the Kebbi state People’s Democratic Party Chairman, Alhaji Usman Bello Suru, former Deputy Mayor and Chairman Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Abaji, Chapter chairman, APC Gwagwalada Area Council,
Honorable Ahmed Baba and Alhaji Aminu Bala.
The delegation at the family house also prayed for the family and the unity and stability of Nigeria.
