THE COUP IN NIGER IS AN ISSUE FOR RESOLUTION AT THE GLOBAL PAN-AFRICAN LEVEL, NOT FOR THE US-FRANCE PUPPETS IN ECOWAS TO GRANDSTAND!

1. The Amilcar Cabral Movement (ACIS-M) strongly condemns and rejects the slavish and despicable positions of ECOWAS Heads of State, to front for the imperialist interests of the United States of America and France, not only in undermining the sovereignty of Niger Republic, but also the use of the pretext of a non-existent democratic arrangement, to wage a war of further plunders and criminal looting of the resources of the country!

2. As a Pan-Africanist, Socialist and revolutionary movement, with commitment to the total liberation of the Pan-African World and the defence of the values of Humanity, ACIS-M is resolved to, and we will vigorously campaign against any ECOWAS mobilisation for war or invitation of the US-France mercenary forces to attack Niger Republic!

3. ACIS-M shares the position and stand of the Governments in Bourkina-Faso, Guinea, and Mali, which have re-affirmed the Pan-African vision of the independence struggles in Africa – a pointer to the fact that Sekou Toure, Modibo Keita and Thomas Sankara spirits live in the hearts of the African people in those nation-states!

4. Who are the ECOWAS Heads of State who want to restore the so-called democracy in Niger Republic? What are their credentials other than being puppets to the Governments of US-France, that are holding their various territories in ECOWAS in bondage for imperialist exploitation and domination? What do they have to show for their misrule, other than – frauds, treasury looting, violence against dissenting voices, imposition of IMF-World Bank policies, hardships and sufferings of majority of the people, etc, in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic, etc? Taking Nigéria as a case study, where is the democracy to showcase, other than the underdevelopment of Nigeria with neoliberal policies being imposed on its people?

5. The irony in the Niger Republic issue was that the immediate past President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari was being shielded with the loots of Nigeria, when the then Nigerien Republic President – Mohammed was militarily deposed! How can Niger – a country rich in natural endowments of uranium, gold and hydrocarbons be continuously plundered for decades since independence? Niger was a victim of the destabilisation by US-NATO-France in the destruction of Libya and the criminal murder of Muammar Gadaffi. Also, did the US VP President – Kamala Harris, under
the guise of speaking with Nigeria’s Tinubu not instruct him to defend their (imperialist) fraud in Niger Republic?

6. In Africa, a child that refuses to learn from home training, is taught bitter lessons from the outside! So is the case of the Nigeria’s Tinubu Presidency, who possessed by desperation and obsession for legitimacy and imperialist endorsement, threw caution to the wind to undertake the task of using the Nigeria’s military to deepen the crisis in Niger Republic! But the presumed gains from this reckless decision, would turn messy with Nigeria in no distance future, the demand by ACIS-M that Nigeria shouldn’t be used as imperialist cannon folders!

7. ACIS-M APPEALS: The people who live outside Nigeria should not be deceived nor get carried away by the distortion of news on Nigeria, the popular forces in Nigeria are also not in any way carried away by the hypocrisy of the US democracy which Fela Abami Eda aptly described as *demonstration of demo-craziness!* ACIS-M wants to assure that Nigeria with its leadership role at the African level would ultimately finds her rightful bearing and that Nigeria would not be allowed into the descent of imperialist agents and supporters of infamy!

8. If we may ask: Which useless democracy is to be defended in Niger Republic? Sending troops from Nigeria to Niger Republic is like sending them to the slaughter slabs to go and die for US and France’s re-strengthening in a recolonization of Africa! The crisis in Niger Republic should be properly understood as a part of the unresolved questions of the independence struggle and the decolonization process in Africa. Nigerians and Africans everywhere, should awake to RESIST being dragged into another futile misadventure! Instead, the ACIS-M would urge the Nigerian people to prepare to wage a liberation war against the class of looters that is responsible for the present hopeless situation the country finds itself!

9. ACIS-M calls on all popular organisations of the people across the Pan-African World to join the campaign to condemn the decision by ECOWAS to move troops into Niger Republic to confront the new military authority, who acted out of patriotism to depose the Bazoum ruler that had operated as a neo-colonial puppet at the service France!

LET’S STOP THE WAR IN NIGER NOW!
ARISE AGAINST THE PUPPET RULLERS IN AFRICA NOW!
IMPERIALISM CANNOT GIVE DEMOCRACY BUT RIGGED ELECTIONS + SIT-TIGHT RULERS!
