ADAMAWA DRAMA ENDS AS INEC DECLARES GOV FINITIRI WINNER

According to results announced by INEC, Fintiru polled 430,821 votes to defeat Aisha Binani, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 396,788.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has been declared winner of the Adamawa governorship election.

Fintiri was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday following its resumption of collation of results from Saturday’s supplementary poll.

According to results announced by INEC, Fintiru polled 430,821 votes to defeat Aisha Binani, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 396,788.
