Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa, IGLSA will on Saturday 18th November, 2023 inducts new fellows, members and associates members during its maiden investiture at the African University of Science and Technology, Abuja.

The IGLSA is an independent, multi-disciplinary Think-Tank approved institution by the Federal Ministry of Education and chartered by the Corporate Affairs Commission as a Company Limited
The Director General of IGLSA, Lanre Adebayo, P.h.D stated that deserving Nigerians including serving Governors with quality leadership styles and friends of Nigeria would be conferred with doctorate, fellowship and membership of the institute.

TINUBU CONGRATULATES NAFDAC ON MAINTAINING WHO MATURITY LEVEL 3 FOR REGULATION OF MEDICINES AND VACCINES

The DG added that the investiture will be chaired by Professor Nuhu Yaqub, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja who also doubled as the Chairman of the Fellowship Screening Committee.

Executive Governor of Yobe State,Mai Mala Buni, his Jigawa State counterpart, Alhaji Umaru Namadi and Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Muhammed Umar Bago will be honored with the institute highest award of doctoral fellowship. Also in that category is the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Mustafa Magu.

Dr. Abdurazaq Garba and six others will be conferred with IGLSA’s full Fellowship of the Institute. Others are Alhaji Nazir Song, Managing Director/CEO, Crown Takaful Insurance Ltd,, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim, office of the SGF, Hajia Maryam Yunusa, Director General, Amalgamated APC Support Group, Engr. Ibiam Oguejior, National Coordinator, Strategy Implementation Task Force for Presidential Executive Order No. 5.
Also scheduled for full Fellowship is a media guru and ICPC Media Consultant, Sir Folu Olamiti.

Malam Madu Uba, Internal Faculty, Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) and host of others are also billed for membership of the institute.

Former Governor of Ogun state, Senator Gbenga Daniel is expected to deliver the investiture’s Keynote address
