The training was facilitated by the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation in partnership with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, as part of efforts to promote human capital development and international knowledge exchange.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, said the initiative underscores his unwavering commitment to creating global opportunities for his constituents and equipping them with relevant skills for sustainable development.

According to the former Abia State Governor, investing in people remains one of the most enduring ways to build stronger communities and secure a better future.

He noted that his Foundation will continue to support programmes that empower the people of Abia North and Abia State at large with the knowledge and expertise needed to contribute meaningfully to societal growth.

Senator Kalu wished the two beneficiaries a fruitful and impactful learning experience in China, expressing confidence that the knowledge gained will be beneficial to the development of Abia North upon their return.

“Our greatest investment is in our people,” he said.
