In a condolence message President Tinubu describes late Dr Uduaghan as a public servant whose leadership was devoted to the development of Delta State and service to the nation.

The President notes that the late former governor served as Commissioner for Health and Secretary to the Delta State Government before being elected governor in 2007, a position he held for two terms until 2015.

He says Dr Uduaghan pursued initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, healthcare delivery and the welfare of the people of Delta State.

President Tinubu adds that the former governor remained active in the state’s political and socio-economic landscape after leaving office, contributing to democratic governance and public service.

The President extends his condolences to Uduaghan’s widow, Roli, his children, cousin and former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, as well as his friends, political associates and the people of Delta State.

He urges the people of the state to draw strength from the late governor’s years of service and prays Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest.
