‘’You can’t be a President or Governor without being sponsored by a political party in Nigeria. The party gives birth to government and so, the party needs to be treated better than what is currently obtainable to be able to discharge its duties effectively’’.

Dr. Adebayo who applauds IPAC for its role at ensuring peaceful democratic transitions in the country charges IPAC leadership to develop more capacity building mechanisms for the development of the political parties in Nigeria, adding that someone can not give what he does not have. ‘’You can’t produce quality elected officials when you have no quality party. Political parties should be strong enough to produce quality and competent candidates hence the need to invest in political parties structures and development’’.

Earlier, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle, IPAC National Chairman, hails Dr. Abdullah Umar Ganduje’s led APC executive committee for its wisdom to set up an institute for the development of his party. He describes such feat as unprecedented and has capacity to transform ways of doing things within the APC. He promises the support of IPAC at ensuring the success of the TPI.
‘’We like this development in IPAC and we wish to be associated with you. We will develop proposals for collaborative projects and we wish to work together with you to achieve greater success’’, Alhaji Dantale said.

Dr. Chinedu Obi, Director-General of IPAC solicits the support of TPI towards encouraging more women in politics. ‘’We have sponsored a bill before the National Assembly over the inclusion of more women in politics and we want you to please support the bill to become reality ’’. Dr Obi added that IPAC would like to collaborate with TPI in training more youths, women and educate politicians on basic regulations guiding governance and leadership in Nigeria.
