Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu has appealed for understanding among the citizens noting that the present economic hardship in the country will soon ease off for prosperity and growth.

Speaking in an interview with Abiodun Folorunsho of Bond FM 92.9 in Ikeja, Lagos state, Nigeria, the Director General encouraged Nigerians to exercise patience with the current administration’s choice to rebuild the country, as opposed to patching its damaged structure as was done by previous administrations.

He explained that the charter, especially the Nigerian Promise component assures citizens of seven commitments including Equality and Meritocracy, regardless of ethnicity, language or religion.

The DG assured listeners that NOA would ensure policies reach the average citizen, using the Artisan association database collected by the Agency’s officers across the 774 local governments areas in the 36 states and the FCT.
