Peter Rufai was not only a football legend but also a beacon of inspiration whose influence extended beyond the football pitch. His dedication to sports, his passion for youth development, and his commitment to using football as a tool for positive change left an indelible mark on Nigeria and beyond.
We were privileged to have him as part of the Arise Foundation Football Tournament, where he graciously celebrated with us, uplifted spirits, and demonstrated what it means to lead with humility, excellence, and heart. His presence was more than symbolic. It was a testament to how sports can unite, empower, and inspire communities, especially our young people.
